Baahubali 2 The Conclusion Review
Don’t Worry I’m not gonna reveal “Why Kattappa Killed Baahubali ?” in this review 😀
Baahubali 2 is the second outing from the makers of Baahubali. The first part of Baahubali, the beginning released in 2015 which showed the real stamina of our Telugu cinema at Indian box office. Directed by the creative genius director, the magnum opus Baahubali The Conclusion released with a lot of hype on 28th April 2017. The premiers of Baahubali 2 started a day before on 27th April in many of the places. Let’s have a review and conclusion about Baahubali The conclusion.
There is no need to say about the story of Baahubali as everyone knows it very well. The 2nd part started at the point where it ended in the first part. The major aspect about Baahubali 2 is “Why Kattappa Killed Baahubali”. In addition to that what exactly is the story of Amarendra Baahubali, his wife Devasena, their love story, the rivalry between Bhallaladeva and Baahubali, reasons behind the death of Sivagami and many more important things are depicted in Baahubali, The conclusion.
There are no more words to praise the brilliance of SS Rajamouli. He is absolutely a mastermind. We can surely say it as a First Rate Work from him. He made the Telugu cinema proud at Indian and international level. The visuals are brilliant and mind blowing. Baahubali 2 had more Whistle Worthy, Clap deserving and Shout Standing moments than Baahubali 1. The way Rajamouli revealed the most awaiting suspense “Why kattappa Killed Baahubali” is very convincing even almost everyone had a vision of how it would have happened. “Who is the wife of Bhallaladeva ?” is still an unknown question 😀
There are a lot of Goosebumps moments in Baahubali 2. Baahubali using elephant trunk to fire the arrow is absolutely brilliant. The arrow fight of Devasena and Baahubali where he teaches her to aim 3 arrows at a time is a treat to watch. The visuals of Hamsa Naava are never before in Tollywood. This song will take you to another world. The way Rajamouli executed the song using a peacock ship in the water and the cloudy horses in the sky will make you spellbound. There are many more awestruck moments which you need to watch on big screen itself. The main thing baahubali 1 and baahubali 2 differs is the Emotional Content. Baahubali 2 is filled with lot of emotional scenes which will make the audience connect to the story easily.
The performances are very brilliant and perfect to the core. Prabhas excelled in larger than life roles of Mahendra Baahubali and Amarendra Baahubali. The darling definitely Deserves a hug for his hard work, dedication and the time he spent. Prabhas is now a global star. Anushka is gorgeously charming and hypnotic. You will definitely fall in love with her. Ramya Krishnan as sivagami is an asset to the film. Her fiery attitude and the power of showcasing any expression with her amazing eyes is phenomenal. Rana as the baddie is as brilliant as Prabhas. There is no doubt in saying that Rana gave a tough competition in terms of Performance. SatyaRaj as Kattapa is the show stealer after Prabhas. He gave his best as an actor by showcasing his emotions as well as the comedy angle. The other characters like Nasser, Subbaraj acted exceptionally well.
The first half of the movie is Exceptional with some breathtaking and unbelievable stuff from the mind of Rajamouli. Except for some forced comedy using Kattappa in the starting of the first half, there are no low moments in the first half. The scenes will remind us the Bakara formula of Srinu Vaitla to make the heroine fall in love with the help of a supporting comedian and a Bakara. Keeping that aside, the first half is filled with many praiseworthy scenes. The interval bang is Phenomenal. The second half is a bit low when compared to the first half. Some of the scenes make you open-mouthed with astonishment while some scenes will make you the same with a shock of what’s happening on screen. The climax is the only let down in the entire movie. How a man like Sivudu who hardly knows a thing about fighting with a sword is able to declare war against a largest kingdom like mahishmathi ?
Baahubali 2 is technically terrific. The VFX is spectacular and it is definitely a 5 Star work. Taking help of more than 50 VFX studios itself shows their zeal of perfection they thrived for giving the best output. Songs and BGM by Keeravani elevated the scenes to next level. Especially the Haisa Rudrassa BGM will give goosebumps whenever it comes. Rest of the departments gave their best to give us this Magnum Opus.
On a whole Baahubali 2 is Worth Watching a couple of times for the spectacular and mind blowing visuals. I believe there is no Hit or Flop for a movie like Baahubali. Only thing is whether you liked it or not. Catch this once in a Blue Moon movie in your nearest theaters. I will conclude Baahubali the Conclusion with a final statement
Baahubali The Conclusion > Baahubali The Beginning.
