Finally, how Veerappan was Killed ?  is the story of Killing Veerappan

Killing Veerappan Movie Review:

Entire plot of the movie is to catch Veerappan alive or dead. Every time the operation to catch him failed and nearly 100 police officials were killed by veerappan. It’s highly impossible for anyone to kill him in the forest. So they planned for the Operation Cocoon, which means getting him out of the forest to kill.

We all know that RGV is a specialist in depicting real life incidents in a realistic and more interesting way. Killing Veerappan falls under the same category but with some ups and downs. Veerappan’s cruelty is shown in a way that the audience will wait for his death.

Many of the real incidents were changed for the sake of movie script. They include, Mutthu Lakshmi staying as a tenant with some girl and the girl helping the police officials, Veerappan killing his own daughter, Planning to kidnap Rajnikanth, Veerappan showing interest to meet Prabhakaran and which made him move out of the forest.

Sandeep Bharadwaj did a fabulous job in the role of Veerappan. He simply lived in the character. Shivarajkumar is equally good in the police officer role. Rest of the actors acted so naturally to get the feel of  a real life incident.

RGV did his best in showcasing this real life incident. Drags in the screenplay and unconvincing additions to the story are the major flaws. BGM helped the scenes to elevate better. Killing Veerappan is good but not as better as Raktha Charitra.

Killing Veerappan Pros:

Real Life Incident

RGV Taking

Sandeep Bharadwaj (Who acted as Veerappan)

Killing Veerappan Cons:

Drags in between

Nothing new or interesting things about his life

Unconvincing additions to the real story

Final Verdict:

When it comes to real life incidents, no one can beat RGV. You can give it a shot for sure.

Killing Veerappan Rating: 2.75/5
